God Is Not In Charge

It’s Another Podcast!

The title of this new podcast is the same title of an article I published last week.  I realize the title could be shocking to some people.  But I think the information is very helpful, so I decided to do a podcast as well.

As you listen to this and think about it logically, it makes a lot of sense.  Not only that, but it removes the wrongly placed blame for things that people have laid at God’s feet.

Discover in this short podcast (8:42) who is really in charge of your life.

  1. Good stuff Pop. All areas of life require an appropriate balance. I like the idea of a partnership with God.

  2. Hi son!
Thanks for your comment. You are right; all areas of life require balance, and, God really does desire to work with us, and in us.
    God bless you,
    Dad

  3. You may know the saying “you do your best and God will do the rest”. Well for me I grew up thinking my best was never good enough and so I never got to the point of asking God for help. I have since realized that I can ask God to help me do my best and have His help right from the start (not try to do my best w/o Him and then ask) It is so much easier and more fun to work with Him and He gives you the desires and then helps you achieve them. How fun !!

  4. Hi Karen,
    Thanks for your comment.
You are right, it is much better to ask God to help you from the start, instead of a “last resort.” But isn’t great that anywhere along the path, we can call on Him for help?
    God bless you,
    Mike

  5. A working together relationship with God~how wonderful that we have that available! He is involved in our lives if we choose to involve Him, but He is not in charge of our free will thinking or the actions we choose to take (and their consequences!). God is not a puppeteer!

What joy it is to get up every day and put forth my best effort, asking for His help while staying thankful and doing my best with what I have, praying for His wisdom, guidance, open doors, miracles, whatever is needed to accomplish His purpose for my life and the lives of those I touch.

What an exciting way to live!

God bless you, and thank you for this podcast.
